The Good Brush Company promotes clean teeth and a cleaner sea as it partners with Dentaid in their fight to reduce plastic waste and dental decay

We are delighted to announce that we have recently partnered with Dentaid, the oral care charity helping those in need access dental care. With every toothbrush that Good Brush sell, they are donating one to charity.

We believe that we can reduce plastic waste by encouraging everyone to switch to bamboo toothbrushes, with 100% bio-degradable handles and recyclable bristles. And these toothbrushes not only help make our planet cleaner, but they help those in need too, which is why the brand has partnered with Dentaid.

Whilst Good Brush works to help protect the planet for future generations, they are also on a mission to help future generations NOW. With a increasing rise in early-childhood cavities, fillings and, shockingly, extractions in the UK, it is clear that dental health is worsening. So by partnering with Dentaid we donate one via charity to a someone in need, be it through a school programme or outreach, breakfast club, food bank or dental care outreach.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Dentaid by donating toothbrushes. The work they do within schools and communities, and aiding those in need access dental care is invaluable. Helping others whilst spreading our message that a bamboo toothbrush is a real alternative to plastic is at the heart of what we do, so to partner with them is an exciting milestone for us as a start-up. As a global charity, their knowledge and experience is second to none, and we look forward to building a strong relationship with Dentaid in to the future. “ - Rachel Beasley, Founder, The Good Brush Company

“Dentaid is extremely grateful to Good Brush for this generous donation of toothbrushes. Oral health education is at the heart of our work and our volunteers deliver toothbrushing programmes at schools and community centres across the UK. We also ensure all the homeless people we treat on our mobile dental unit has a toothbrush and our projects increase access to dental care for the most vulnerable and hard to reach people in our society. In addition to our UK projects, Dentaid has also worked in more than 70 countries and has projects in some of the poorest and most remote communities in the world. We are very conscious of the environmental impact that plastic waste – including from toothbrushes – is having around the world, particularly in poorer countries. The fact that these brushes are made from bio-degradable and recyclable materials and packaging is absolutely fantastic and we can continue to deliver our toothbrushing programmes safe in the knowledge that we reducing plastic waste. We think the Good Brush company is a wonderful idea and we’re delighted to be working with them.” - Jill Harding Communications Director, Dentaid.
